THERE will be straw galore when an annual Scarecrow celebration returns to a Herefordshire Village.
Scarecrow Sunday will take place in Brampton Bryan, near Leintwardine, on August 5, when a band of musical straw people are expected to take over.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the day, including a children's concert and flower festival in the church, games on the cricket field and displays by a cabinet maker, bookbinder and blacksmith.
For historians, and children, there will be three conducted tours of the castle and the day will close with Evensong at around 6.30pm in the church.
