The final exhibition of work by Hereford College of Arts' 2017 MA Contemporary Crafts graduates opens tomorrow, Friday, at the College Road Campus.

HCA's Masters degree in Contemporary Crafts challenges and extends individual creative practice, allowing makers to achieve their professional and artistic goals. Throughout the course, students establish individual working methodologies which are authentic, sustainable and use reflective, creative and critical thinking. Students belong to a growing postgraduate community at HCA who are passionate about their practice, creative in their approach to materials and processes, inspired by ideas and concepts, and empowered by research and theoretical engagement. The exhibition will showcase a diversity of practice, representing the breadth of what is possible on the MA course. From conceptual and socially engaged practice, to sculpture, installation and design-led craft outcomes; graduate work will demonstrate a wealth of traditional and innovative materials and craft processes.

The Private View takes place tonight from 4pm to 7pm, and the exhibition is then open Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm, from December 11 to 14 and January 3 to 31, and on Fridays, 9am to 1pm.
