LEOMINSTER Rotary Club are pleased to announce that another new member has joined the club, making five since July.

Paul Davy wished to assist with efforts in helping the local community and that is what Rotary is all about.

In the past year, Leominster Rotary Club have been pleased to support a variety of local charities, including Marches Family Network, Air Ambulance and Leominster Museum. This has only been possible due to the wonderful support of the local community and their very generous donations at Rotary fundraising events.

On that note, Rotary are again taking part in the Leominster Victorian Street Market on December 9, so look out for the "Cider with Rotary" stall, where they will be selling mulled cider and giving away a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a wonderful Christmas hamper.

In a new and exciting venture, the club will also be selling bottles of locally sourced and produced apple juice and the proceeds of the whole stall will go towards good causes.

Leominster Rotary Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month at Leominster Golf Club (6pm for 6.30pm) and potential members are always welcome. The membership officer is Geoffrey Crofts and he can be contacted on 01568 615706 or email rotaryclubofleominster@hotmail.co.uk
