DRIVERS reported long delays this afternoon in the Belmont area.
Work started today on resurfacing the A465 Abergavenny road from Belmont roundabout to Clehonger junction.
There was a traffic convoy in place from 9am to 4.45pm and will continue for the rest of the week.
The work is expected to finish on November 13.

This week the A438 is closed in Winforton towards Stowe Farm between 8.45am and 5pm.
Work on the Newtown Road A49 southbound is expected to finish on Friday.
