ON November 10, Nigel Hand, well-known ecologist and adder expert will present an illustrated wildlife talk at Goodrich Village Hall entitled the Secret Life of the Adder. He will be talking about his recent telemetry work on this secretive and threatened species and his lifelong passion for the "vanishing viper".

As seen on TV - Nigel's work with adders was recently featured on BBC Countryfile, the One Show and in the July 2016 issue of BBC Wildlife magazine.

The talk will cover the fascinating details that Nigel has learnt about the secretive life of adders through radio telemetry projects, working with various conservation bodies in central and southern England including the Zoological Society of London, the National Trust and the Wildlife Trusts.
