POLICE are appealing for information following concerns for the welfare of a Kington man.

Mark Simcock, 44, was reported missing yesterday after leaving his home address earlier that morning.

Officers have received a report that he was taken to Hereford train station but has not been seen or heard from since.

It is believed that Mark may have gone towards Swansea.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Mark or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

Mark is described as white, 6ft 1in tall, of slim build, with short black hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to have been wearing beige shorts, grey or red trainers, a blue jacket and carrying a blue rucksack with black straps on it.

Anyone who sees Mark or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 or the Missing People Charity on 116 000.
