A NEW marketing solution for small businesses has been set up by the company which publishes the Hereford Times.

Newsquest has set up ReachEdge- a time-saving solution designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) navigate the complexities of online marketing.

Newsquest is one of the UK’s largest regional media groups with more than 200 news brands, magazines, and trade publications reaching a total audience of more than 30 million adults in the UK.

Marketing expert Charlie Neary said: "ReachEdge is a marketing solution for SMEs.

"These people don't have the time to currently look at this level of detail very easily or can't employ a marketing person in that respect."

She said ReachEdge can provide for the "three pillars" of marketing for reaching out and engaging with their customers.

The three pillars are: making brands visible, producing leads and converting those leads into sales.

Charlie added: “We focus on visibility to make sure their business is on hundreds of directives including Facebook, Google and Yell. We put them online and feature them in newspapers.

“Once we have made that business visible to customers that will drive traffic to their website.

“From there we offer live chat assistance to answer questions, advise on how to respond to reviews, and they can see how leads have come to them, track them, and deploy an automated email marketing system.

“We want to help businesses move with the times and move forward with their business, taking as little of their time away as possible.”

She said the leads are made into a dashboard and businesses can see how leads have come through to them - either through their website or through an advert.

Charlie added: "It is a cost-effective marketing solution that has been designed to reach customers and get an edge over competitors, hence the name, ReachEdge."
