ON September 19, members of the Herefordshire Health Services Retirement Fellowship (HHSRF) visited Megan Baker House to meet with the staff and children and to hand over a donation raised at their August charity tea party which totalled £241.80.

The HHSRF member's support is greatly appreciated by Megan Baker House and a huge thank you was given to all concerned.

The next meeting of the HHSRF will be held on Monday at 2pm in the St John's Methodist Hall, St Owen Street, Hereford.

Organisers will be announcing the details of the Christmas trip to Abbey-Cwm-Hir and the annual Christmas lunch menu at the meeting.

This month's guest speaker is Allan Wells who will be giving his presentation entitled How Clever is the Bee. Members are looking forward to hearing about the western honey bearing bees, their honey production and pollination activities. If you love honey this talk is definitely for you!

If you are retired and have worked for the NHS, you are most welcome to come along to meetings, that are held on the third Monday of the month, between 2pm - 4pm in the St John's Methodist Hall, St Owen Street, Hereford HR1 2PR.

Member's guests are also very welcome to join in at any meetings, trips or events and enjoy refreshments at our meetings.
