PLANNING approval is being sought for 64 new homes in a village north of Hereford just off the A49.
Beechcroft Land Ltd and Crawford Richard Perkins have applied for outline planning permission to build 64 homes, including 35 per cent affordable, on land to the west of Church House Farm in Moreton-On-Lugg.
The application site is situated near to the junction between the A49 and the turn-off leading to Moreton-on-Lugg.
The site is currently a field, and the A49 runs parallel to the west boundary.
A new single access point is proposed on the road leading off the A49.
The mix of houses for the affordable provision would be ten two-bed semi/terraced, nine three-bed semi/terraced and three four-bed detached.
The open market provision would be a one bed flat over a garage, seven two-bed terraced, eight three-bed detached, 12 three-bed semi-detached and 14 four-bed detached.
Matters of appearance, layout, landscape and scale are reserved for future consideration.
