A CELEBRATION of the humble hedgehog will be held in Ross-on-Wye.
The Hedgehog Festival celebrates Ross' ancient links to the hedgehog- in the 7th century Anglo-Saxon invaders called the ancient kingdom of Ergyng, Archenfield, which means Land of Hedgehogs.
The family fun day on September 17 from 11am to 4pm will be held next to the Hope and Anchor pub.
There will be hedgehog-themed crafts and activities and also plants and stalls. There will also be Birds of Prey.
