ON-STREET parking charges are to be introduced later this year. We asked those who took part in this week's online poll how it would affect them.
A total of 856 people took part in the vote, at herefordtimes.com, and a majority of 72 per cent said they would probably stick to out of town stores to save on parking charges.
A further 11 per cent said they would be likely to walk or cycle to the city centre and seven per cent said they would continue to pop to town for a short period and pay the new charge.
Six per cent said they would use long-stay car parks instead while the remaining five per cent said they would use public transport.
