MORE than £12,000 was raised from a charity ball and auction organised by NFU Herefordshire.

Organisers Sarah Curtis-Wynne and Sonia Owens were delighted with the support for the evening which took place at Lower House Farm in Tillington.

Money raised will be split equally between Midlands Air Ambulance and farming charity R.A.B.I.

The auctioneer on the evening was Richard Hyde from Sunderlands.

With nearly 200 tickets sold, guests enjoyed a drinks reception of Herefordshire sparkling wine from Castle Brook Vineyard donated by Henry Chinn, food by caterer Field to Fork and live music by MirrorBall.

Thanks go to Mr and Mrs David Bishop who let NFU have use of their home following the wedding of their daughter, Zoe, the previous weekend.
