A TEAM from the Jubilee Christian Centre in Hereford is taking part in the national Three Peaks Challenge in memory of a friend.
Neil Coulson was a leader of a youth group at the church, which is based at St Barnabas Church Centre in Venns Lane.
He died in February of this year at St Michael's Hospice.
Gavin Pettigrew, from the centre, said: "As well as being the leader of our youth group in our church that he led with passion and unlimited devotion, he also enjoyed physically demanding activities and encouraged all to participate."
Which is why the team are taking on the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours next weekend.
Money raised from the challenge will go to two causes close to Neil's heart; the youth group of the Jubilee Christian Centre and St Michael's Hospice.
