POLICE were called by a homeless woman who was opposed to having her property removed from a Hereford landmark
Hereford Business Improvement District (BID) were trying to remove the woman from near the bull statue in Hereford on Wednesday morning.
Hereford BID Operation and Marketing Manager Mike Truelove said: “A couple of tents and bits were wrapped around the bull itself and drooping into the street."
The homeless woman was asked to move on.
Balfour Beatty helped Hereford BID to remove the remaining items on the statue.
A police spokesman said: “Officers were called to an incident in High Town at around 9.10am yesterday after a woman reported having items of personal property removed from the street near the bull statue.
“Words of advice were given to the woman and no criminal offences were recorded.”
