A LEOMINSTER teenager is hoping to return the Miss Teen Great Britain crown to Herefordshire this year.
Chloe Brown will be hoping to replicate the success of Shobdon's Erin White, who won the competition last year, when she competes for the national crown later this year.
Last year, Chloe took part in the junior category and now, aged 16, she will be competing in the teen category as Miss Teen Herefordshire.
As part of the competition, she is raising money for children's charity Together for Short Lives which supports children's hospices and families with terminally ill children. It is a cause close to her own heart.
To raise funds, she has already taken on Europe's largest zipwire and, two weeks ago, hosted a Tina Turner tribute night at the Courtyard in Hereford which raised £2,600.
She will also be abseiling down the bell tower at the Trafford Centre in Manchester on September 17 and hopes it will take her total to £3,500.
She said: "Thanks to everyone for all the local support – living in a small town is hard when you are trying to do something that a lot of people haven't really heard of.
"Last year Erin White brought home the Miss Junior Great Britain crown and this year I am hoping to do the same.
"I really want to be a role model for young girls to show them that with a little confidence and self-belief you can achieve your dreams."
