From July 22 to August 31, an exhibition at Trumpet Corner will celebrate Light and Line.

The four artists exhibiting are glass artist Jill Bagnall, fine art printmaker Lucia Davies, illustrator Kate Moby and photographer Caz Holbrook.

Glass designer maker Jill Bagnall designs and makes her colourful studio glass at her studio, Fusing Ideas Glass on the edge of the Shropshire Hills.

“The interplay of colour and light is my inspiration," says Jill Bagnall. Glass with its extraordinary ability to refract, reflect and transmit, plays with colour and light. Its strength can also be deceptive, and all in all it makes a seductive material to work with."

Illustrator Kate Moby's hand-drawn, nature-focused illustrations, created using bamboo cut and whittled into dip pens, feature on homeware, stationery and gifts that have been featured in the Guardian, Ideal Home, Good Homes Magazine, and a range of independent stockists.

Photographer Caz Holbrook, though primarily a wedding and portrait photographer also has a great love of capturing landscapes and the natural world, and printmaker Lucia Davies works mainly in collgraphs.
