Families are invited to join Goblin Theatre on a brilliant musical adventure in Peter and The Wolf this July.

When Peter goes camping with his Grandad for the weekend he is told to go no further than the campsite. Peter though has other ideas and ends up adventuring through the fields and forest. As he discovers news sounds and noises he meets singing birds, waddling ducks, sneaky cats and a rocking wolf.

Featuring new music inspired by Prokofiev’s classic Peter and The Wolf, this show features a variety of instruments and objects including real musical vegetables! Imaginative puppetry, combined with physical comedy and fun interaction, makes this show an ideal introduction to making music that will have children aged four and above jumping for joy.

Peter and The Wolf is part of Courtyard Family Saturdays and children will be able to make their own paper plate wolf mask as a free activity before the show from 10.30am.

Peter and The Wolf will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre on Saturday 22 July. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
