ACTIVITIES including horse logging and mobile saw demonstrations will be on offer during a free family fete at Credenhill Park Wood.
The event on Sunday, which also features traditional crafts, face painting and woodland art, is being run by the Woodland Trust and takes place between 11am and 4pm.
Families are encouraged to take a picnic, although Tillington Village Shop will be selling cold drinks and snacks on the day. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Since purchasing Credenhill Park Wood in 2003, the Woodland Trust has worked with the Heritage Lottery Fund to bring the wood to life for local people.
This included an excavation of a Roman hill fort dating back to the 1st century AD, and restoring precious ancient woodland through the removal of non-native conifers.
