Nigel Lifely and John Watkins proved a formidable pairing as they clinched a clear victory in the Eddie Hughes Fourball Trophy.
The Ross-on-Wye GC annual event saw each entrant for handicap purposes having to play off a reduced 90 per cent allowance.
Lifely and Watkins found the Gorsley based tree-lined course to their liking hitting a combined nett 62 medal score, 10 shots lower than the course's standard par 72 status to take victory.
Runners-up Neil Lancett & Gareth Webb scored a nett 65 along with Gerry Powell/Mark Oldale and Roger Morgan/William Cansdale.
