A GAS supply is thought to have been tampered with at a home in Leominster.

Police are appealing for witnesses following what they describe as "a suspicious incident" at a residential property in Green Lane.

Between 9pm on Monday, June 19 and 9.45am on Tuesday, June20, an unknown offender or offenders are believed to have entered the property through an insecure entrance.

Police said nothing was taken and nobody was injured, but a gas supply is thought to have been tampered with.

Detective sergeant Sarah Bennett said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated above.

"We would also like to remind people to check their windows and doors before leaving their property or going to bed, ensuring they are locked and secure wherever possible."
