A BROTHER and sister business team have won a place on the prestigious Goldman Sachs business programme.

Ryan and Tara Roche run a technical event production company called Media Services and the head office is in Hereford.

The business provides audio visual technical equipment and project management for all types of events.

Tara said: "This is such a wonderful opportunity. It is probably the hardest I have ever worked as there is so much studying and analysis but we are receiving amazing expert mentoring regarding marketing and growth planning, as well as funding advice."

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education and business support services.

Participants identify and execute the steps necessary to enable them to scale their ventures, create employment and expand to new markets.

Ryan said: "This will lead to a chance to recruit more people in Hereford. One of our main aims in the next few years is to open a training academy for young trainees wishing to work in the AV technical world.

"For us, it is not just about the growth, it is about giving something back to the people that work with us to help us to achieve the success."
