Raucous music, visual artists, live youtube hacks and handmade instruments descend upon Hay-on-Wye on Saturday for a special eclectic one off event - The Good Water Presents at The Globe in Hay.

Promising a special evening of blistering garage rock, psych-pop and frantic riffs and performance by musicians and visual artists, The Good Water band are gathering momentum with UK and international airplay for their recent singles See Your Light and Mansaid, including BBC 6Music’s Steve Lamacq single selection of the week supported by Mary-Anne Hobbes and Shaun Keaveny, as well as tastemakers at Amazing Radio and influential LA stations KROQ and Indie 1031).

The band curate a couple of special eclectic artist led evening of visual arts and live music events a year titled ‘The Good Water Presents’, involving visual artists, performance and obscure and avant garde fellow musicians from Birmingham. Normally held in warehouses and artist led spaces in Birmingham, this is the first time the event has taken place outside the city.

Juneau Brothers consists of Joe Welden and visual artist duo Ben Sadler and Phil Duckworth. They have previously performed at Tate Modern and Somerset House; their unique handmade instruments and electronic hacks manifest within an intensely uplifting sound punctuated with melancholy undertones.

Visual artist Cathy Wade presents #FOXNEWSDISCO, a performative plethora of YouTube collages accompanied by pristine techno beats and skewed electronica.
