The 11th Festival in the beautiful gardens of Hellens Manor, Much Marcle, takes place this weekend.

This year's key note speaker is the eminent former director of both the Victoria and Albert Museum and the National Portrait Gallery, the broadcaster, Sir Roy Strong. Roy Strong created the famous Herefordshire Laskett Gardens and he will be in conversation with Lesley Jenkins, creator of Wollerton Old Hall Gardens on this year's Festival theme of 'Growing Today for all our Tomorrows'. The theme will be echoed by the demonstrations of crafts people, artists and gardeners showcasing the work of their trainees as they take up such arts as blacksmithing, horticulture and wood working. This year's Festival will feature a new sculpture trail with works by well-known artists, wending its way across the glorious meadow to the stone circle at Hellens.

Visitors can browse the wares of over 100 exhibitors, explore creative family activities, workshops and themed guided walks in the gardens. With local food and drink to enjoy whilst sitting back in the orchard enjoying the live music brought by the Pumpkin Sessions, Hellens Garden Festival showcases its passion for people, plants and the planet, offering a delightful experience for all.
