THE Leominster in Bloom plant, food and craft fair which was held at The Grange on May 27 raised an amazing £1035 which added to all the generous donations from local shops and businesses help to pay for the summer planting and new planters around Leominster.
There was something for everyone to see from basket weaving and beautiful local crafts to children's bouncy castle and face painting. Of course, a lovely selection of plants on sale from local nurseries and the In Bloom stall also had an enormous tombola, always popular with everyone.
The 2017 planting is now nearly complete in Leominster and we want to make a special effort for the Heart of England judging day which this year falls on July 14.
