THE voting age in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is 18. We asked those who took part in this week's online poll whether they thought it should be lowered to 16.
A total of 281 people had their say, with a majority of 64 per cent stating the voting age should remain at 18.
However, 35 per cent disagreed and thought it should be lowered while the remaining one per cent said they didn't know.
