A MAN stole a mobile phone which was being used by its owner before running off.
Police said the incident happened on Sunday (May 21) at around 2.40pm on Castle Green, Hereford.
The victim was sitting on a bench when an unidentified male walked past and grabbed the phone and ran off. The phone was later recovered.
The suspect is described as white British, aged 25-30, skinny, with short-shaven black hair and stubble.
He is believed to have been wearing a dark blue Adidas jumper, light grey joggers socks pulled over joggers, black Nike trainers, with white tick, which looked really worn with holes in them.
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
