Fast food chain targets Leominster
THE world’s best-known fast food chain has set its sights on Leominster.
Burger restaurant McDonald’s confirmed this week that the county town is on its watch list.
In a statement, the chain said: “We can confirm that Leominster is an area we would like to invest in and we are currently in discussion with a developer.
“A new restaurant would provide positive investment for the area, creating at least 65 new jobs for the local community.”
There are two McDonald’s restaurants in Hereford – on Commercial Street and Belmont Road – and several in Worcestershire.
