Arts Alive’s ‘Canadian Connection’ continues to bring some fantastic musicians to the region, and they're promising lovers of every musical genre a treat when the Montreal Guitar Trio bring their show Danzas to the Playhouse Cinema in Leominster’s Community Centre on Sunday, May 14.
Montreal Guitar Trio marry passionate virtuosity with a stealthy sense of humour and include a mix of rearranged classical pieces, well known covers adapted for three guitars, some original compositions, jazz numbers and world music discoveries. These three top musicians - Marc Morin, Glenn Lévesque and Sébastien Dufour- occasionally add their voices to the guitars when performing great popular classics like The Beatles or Radiohead. For over 18 years, the trio have toured globally; audiences love their interaction, virtuosity, creativity, wit and warmth.
