The Hereford Rail Male Voice Choir is holding its annual concert on Saturday, May 13 at 7.30 pm, at Holy Trinity Church.

In a break from tradition and at the request of many of the choir's regular supporters, the choir has decided to produce a concert using its own soloists, trios and other talent.

The Rail Choir has had another extremely busy year, with concerts and performances throughout the county and beyond. They have been particularly well received in their 4 performances for BID Hereford in Hereford Hightown and Maylords Orchards Shopping Centre. They have performed in Shobdon, Ross, Ludlow, Ledbury, Weobley, Lower Broadheath and many more venues. A highlight of the season was a concert in Tenby last summer at the invitation of the Tenby Male Voice Choir.

As in the past, the Annual Concert will be an opportunity to showcase some new pieces that the choir are incorporating into their repertoire. These include a medley of 60s songs arranged by Alan Simmons and an arrangement of An American Trilogy by Alwyn Humphreys.

The concert proceeds are shared equally between the Choir Funds and Holy Trinity Church Funds.

Tickets are available on the door on the night and from members of the choir.
