A CHARITY roadshow is to visit Leominster in a bid to inspire and help community groups in save their heritage.

Heritage experts from The Prince’s Regeneration Trust (PRT) will be at the 'BRICK' workshop at Grange Court on Wednesday, April 19 from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Experts will be on hand to provide advice and support to community groups and not-for-profit organisations involved in heritage-led regeneration projects in Herefordshire and across the West Midlands.

Workshop topics include preparing a case for funding, community engagement, determining a building's new design and use, governance and project management.

There will be the opportunity to share useful case studies of best practice from Grange Court, Hartlebury Castle in Kidderminster and St.Mary de Crypt in Gloucester.

Delegates will also benefit from a valuable question and answer with the experts during the day.

Currently 71 buildings are ‘at risk’ in Herefordshire, according to Historic England's 2016 Heritage at Risk Register.
