FUNDRAISERS at a vets in Kington raised money for two charities.
Arrowfield Veterinary Practice raise money throughout every year and select two charities to hand over the proceeds to.
This year they gave £500 to The Cinnamon Trust, a charity which provides practical help for elderly or terminally ill people who need help to look after their pets.
The practice also gave £700 to Midlands Air Ambulance.
They raised money by producing and selling their own calendar.
They asked their clients to send in photographs they had taken of animals and from the competition entries staff judged and selected 12 photographs to be used for the calendar, All Creatures Great and Small.
Lorna Clarke, who is a registered veterinary nurse, ran the Severn Bridge Half Marathon and raised £180 for Midlands Air Ambulance.
