POLICE are searching for two men following an assault and robbery in Bromyard town centre.

The assault happened close to the Queens Arms in High Street sometime between 10.40pm and 11pm on January 31.

A man in his 30s was outside smoking when two men approached him and began a conversation.

A verbal altercation broke out shortly afterwards and the two men are believed to have then assaulted the victim, who fell to the ground.

While he was on the floor, a gold ring is understood to have been removed from his finger by one of the attackers.

The victim received treatment for bruises to his face and knee.

The first man is described as being in his mid to late 20s, tall, of a large build, with light brown hair and facial hair.

The second man is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, of muscular build, with short, dark hair, a tattoo on his neck, and a scar on the left hand side of his head below his hairline.

Enquiries are currently ongoing but officers are keen for anyone who saw the assault, who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously or who was in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.

They would also like to speak to the two men pictured as they believe they may have information, which could help with the investigation.
