CHARITIES are being given the chance to raise money at the Bands in the Park programme over the summer in Ross-on-Wye.
The concerts start on Sunday, May 28 and run every Sunday afternoon until August 27.
Ross-on-Wye Town Council’s Events Committee has given the go-ahead for the concerts at the bandstand near the River Wye in Wye Street.
Charities from the area can make a collection each week during the concert- dates will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
And this year charities can also run a refreshment area to raise money.
The events committee is also looking for a luxury ice cream provider to run a stand.
Any group wishing to get involved with serving refreshments or providing an ice cream stand contact the council’s office in writing before February 28- Ross-on-Wye Town Council, The Corn Exchange, 7 High Street, Ross-on-Wye.
