A SIXTEENTH century black and white pub in a village near Leominster is up for sale by auction.
The Grade II listed Stockton Cross Inn, in Kimbolton, is for sale by on-site auction (unless previously sold) at a guide price of £225,000.
Guy Simmonds, the agent which has brought the property to the market, says the village inn and restaurant makes a healthy turnover with a trade split of 35 per cent wet and 65 per cent food.
The village inn has a lounge/dining area and dining room as well as a patio terrace, beer garden, three bedrooms, a car park and commercial catering kitchen.
There is also a detached stone barn.
Marc Blackford of Guy Simmonds said: "This a stunning black and white freehold inn is in a lovely village and offers an attractive business opportunity. This business for sale would appeal to all types of buyer but may be of particular interest to a commercial buy-to-let investor as the current managers may be interested in leasing the business."
The on-site auction takes place on Monday, May 8.
