RESIDENTS are being urged to attend a public meeting on Monday to discuss the future of Hay Library.
Local Welsh Assembly member Kirsty Williams will speak at the event which takes place at Hay Parish Hall from 7.30pm.
Hay County Primary School pupils have been making a banner for the meeting being organised by Hay-on-Wye Library Supporters.
There will also be a drop-in from 3.30pm at the Parish Hall.
Powys County Council have said they will be making further cuts to the library service in Hay-on-Wye, as they look to hand over responsibility for libraries to rural communities.
There will be an opportunities for questions, to share ideas and concerns, and to be updated on the situation.
