Zac recovering in his cage
A PET cat has been shot in the leg with an air rifle in Hereford.
Zac was shot last Monday morning in the Coldwells Road area in Munstone/Holmer.
Owner Jenny Powell, who works for the Hereford Times sister paper, Ludlow and Tenbury Wells Advertiser, discovered he was limping when she returned home from work.
Zac, who is about ten-years-old, was taken to Holmer Vets and they discovered he had a broken leg and was operated on.
Jenny added: "Holmer Vets was fantastic and I am hoping he will make a full recovery but it is early days."
