UPDATE on 18/01/17: THIS event has now been postponed due to the weather. A new date is yet to be set.

ON Thursday, for one night only Hereford College of Arts team up with Mash Cinema to present Boogie Box Nights, a public event at Hereford Skatepark at 7pm.

An exciting evening accompanied by eclectic hip-hop, dance and electro music, it will feature a show reel of 1980s-inspired abstract moving graphics, projected onto Hereford skate park boom-box-styled offices. Skaters and freestyle BMXers are invited to perform tricks in front of the projections whilst being filmed by BA (Hons) Short Film-making course at HCA.

BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design students will be creating the moving imagery in collaboration with Mash Cinema. For this innovative event, film, art, music, and freestyle sport will combine to deliver a unique experience for all those watching or participating.

This event is weather dependent; confirmation will be posted on the Hereford skate Park Facebook page www.facebook.com/Herefordskatepark and the BA (Hons) Graphic & Media design Instagram page @Graphicdesignhereford #graphicdesignhereford within 48 hours of the event.
