POLICE are appealing for information relating to a collision between a mobility scooter and an unknown vehicle.
The incident happened at around 10am on New Years Day when the mobility scooter driver, a man in his 50s, was crossing the road where Hoarwithy Road intersects with Holme Lacy Road.
At the time of the collision, the man suffered a medical episode and as such is unable to fully recall what happened.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: "The area was fairly busy at the time of the collision and as such we are hoping witnesses will be able to come forward to help us establish the events leading up to the incident.
"We are also appealing for the driver of the other vehicle involved to come forward."
Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 418 of 1 January 2017
