AN appeal for witnesses was this week renewed as investigations continue into the arrest of a man in Hereford.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) want to speak to anyone who saw what happened during the incident at 3.30am on November 27, 2016.
The IPCC said that officers from West Mercia Police had responded to reports of disorder outside a food outlet on Commercial Road.
A man who was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer was injured and received treatment in hospital for an injury to his face.
The incident was caught on camera and a video was posted on social media and sent to the Hereford Times before the story made the front page of this newspaper.
The IPCC has launched an independent investigation following a referral from the police force and this week asked people who saw the incident to contact them.
Anyone with information can call the IPCC investigation team on 0800 068 3356.
