AN expanding Worcestershire accountancy firm has appointed a new client manager as it sets its sights on further growth in 2017.

Chartered accountant Tom Casey has been appointed to the new role at Hayward Wright Chartered Accountancy Group, where he will manage a portfolio of around 200 clients on behalf of the firm which has offices in Worcester, Redditch and Solihull. The 27-year-old accountant joins from a Birmingham-based accountancy practice and will now advise Hayward Wright’s clients on a variety of finance-related areas including tax planning, monthly accounts and general commercial advice. He will report to managing director Alistair Hayward-Wright and director Gareth Wood.

Mr Casey said: “I’m delighted to be joining a firm with such a great reputation and first and foremost I want to help our clients achieve all the successes they want for their businesses. I have joined Alistair and the team at a really exciting time. I’ve watched as the company has gone from strength to strength in recent years and the industry couldn’t fail to notice the type of client base Hayward Wright is building.”

Mr Hayward-Wright added: “Our business is growing and that means building our client management team to maintain the relationships we have with a wide portfolio of clients. Tom fits the bill perfectly and he stands out for his talent, professionalism and always looking to put the needs of clients first. I have no doubt he will prove to be a fantastic addition to our team in the months and years ahead.”

Hayward Wright employs a team of 18 people and last year moved into its new headquarters in Redditch as part of a six-figure investment plan.
