A HEREFORD nightclub will be graced by a cult television star next month.

Super Hans was one of the key players in the Channel Four series, Peep Show, and loved for his eccentric outlook on life and his way with words.

Matt King, the actor and comedian who plays the role of Super Hans, is now taking the character on the road as part of a UK tour.

And The Venue in Hereford is on the list of dates where Super Hans will bring his eclectic mix of musical tastes to the masses.

Hans told The Guardian that his set would not be "all Gabba and Techno".

"Where else are you going to hear a big ketty beat laid over the top of Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles?" he asked.

"You will dance, you will laugh, you will turn to one another in disbelief and weep tears of pure joy."

Super Hans will be at The Venue on Friday, November 18.
