POLICE are appealing for information to an incident involving three schoolchildren in Hereford.
It has been reported that between 3.15pm and 3.45pm on Friday, September 23, two 10 year-old schoolboys were outside Bartonsham Stores on Green Street when they were approached by a slightly older boy.
The older child demanded money from the boys and one of the 10 year-old boys gave him £1.
The other 10 year-old then rang his mum, at which point the older boy knocked the phone out of his hand causing it to fall on the floor and become damaged.
The older child is described as white, of a thin build, approximately 5ft 5ins tall and believed to be between 11 or 12 years old.
He was described as wearing a school uniform.
Investigating officers want to speak to any witnesses.
Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 0543S of 30 September 2016.
