FOUR people have appeared in court charged with five distraction thefts, including one at Ross-on-Wye.
Elvis Marian Farcas, 26, of Upper Villiers Street, Wolverhampton; Ionel Constantin, 44, of Rowsley Street, Leicester; Fiorina Constantin, 50, of no fixed abode; and Cristina Toma, 34, of Alderwood Precinct, Dudley were all charged with conspiring to steal and committing fraud by false representation.
Toma was also charged with handling stolen goods.
They were arrested on Friday by officers from the Central Motorway Policing Group (CMPG).
All four people have been remanded in custody and will appear at Worcester Crown Court next month.
