LUCTONIANS are now up to sixth place in National League Two North after winning for the third time in four games.

Their latest success was a fine 35-5 victory over struggling Harrogate.

Lucs had to come from behind to win the game and will be confident that they can get a positive result from this Saturday's tough encounter at Sale.

Steven Macock scored an early try for Harrogate, but that was as good as it got for the Yorkshire side.

Johnny Morris grabbed Luc's first try when he collected Louis Silver's excellent looping pass.

Silver put the home side in front before half-time with a penalty before converting Tom Jones' try.

Harrogate started to tire in the second half and their cause was not helped by number eight Willem Enslin being sent to the sin bin.

Lucs capitalised and with Silver kicking two penalties, the home side took the game away from Harrogate.

Will Hodnett and Alex Smith added further tries to complete the win.

Luctonians: Doyle; Hodnett, Kelly, A Smith, Morris, Jones, Silver; Schroder, Street, Watkins, D Smith, Psota, Dodd, Hackley, Morell.

Replacements: White, Kirkby, Knott, Cheshire, Grimes.
