THE annual Bucknell tractor road run took place last weekend. Seventy vehicles took part, mainly tractors with one or two Landrovers joining in.
Everyone met at Bucknell playing fields where there were refreshments provided by the village hall committee.
The event raised £1200 this will be divided between the Bucknell Memorial Hall and the West Midlands Air Ambulance.
The drivers set of first by driving around Bucknell then up the Mynd, to Darky Dale, through Hopton Wood and then through Hopton Castle, over to the Twitchen, then to Clungunford and Shelderton, through to Mock tree, out at Paytoe lane, through Leintwardine, down Jay Lane, then along a track to Buckton and then back to Bucknell for lunch in the village hall provided by the hall committee.
