A KINGSLAND doctor was delighted to be reunited with his godson, British actor Tom Hollander, at the renowned Hay Festival.
And the actor, known most recently for his roles in The Night Manager and Rev, seemed equally delighted to see Nick Ovenden.
Mr Hollander was at the Hay Festival during the first weekend for Letters Live, along with Olivia Colman and Maxine Peake.
Dr Ovenden, 78, was the family doctor for the Hollanders when they lived in Somerset and he said he went to the hospital in Shepton Mallet to deliver Tom.
Dr Ovenden, who has suffered from Parkinson's for 15 years, went to the festival with friend Lin Forward.
Ms Forward said: "Nick stayed very close friends with Tom's family. They went on family holidays together and grew up together.
"They have remained friends ever since. Tom was delighted to see Nick."
They went backstage at the festival and met other stars, including Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch.
