A 24-YEAR-old has been ordered to pay £3,500 compensation after he punched a window following a night out.
Joshua Harrison of Green Wilding Road in Holmer, Hereford pleaded guilty to criminal damage after he cracked a glass pane at the Hoople Recruitment Agency in Blueschool Street, Hereford.
Lesley Ashton, prosecuting at Hereford Magistrates Court, said during the evening of May 6 Harrison had a disagreement with a member of staff at Play nightclub and he was asked to leave.
Harrison acted aggressively and then started pacing up and down and shouting football-style chants.
He was thrown out and then a member of door staff saw Harrison punching the glass window.
It was also caught on CCTV.
In mitigation Marilena Divitantonio said Harrison, who is autistic, did not mean to cause such damage and is sorry for what happened. She said he has three children to support.
Magistrates gave him a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered him to pay compensation of £3,500 to Hoople.
