A 37-YEAR-old has been fined £125 for being drunk and disorderly on a night out in Hereford.

Darren Leask of St Owen Gate in Hereford pleaded guilty at Hereford Magistrates' Court.

Lesley Ashton, prosecuting, said it was just after 11pm on April 17 when police officers saw two males were arguing with the door staff at the Wellington in Widemarsh Street, Hereford.

The officers stood between the men but Leask swore at the bouncers, before turning his attention to the police.

Police told Leask to leave the area but he persisted and he was arrested.

Leask, who was representing himself, said he was trying to stay out of trouble which he has done for the past few years.

He said he had been drinking all day and they felt they had been thrown out of the pub for no reason.

Leask was fined £125 and ordered to pay court costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £30.
