A VOLUNTARY service which provides transport to isolated people in the county has been awarded funding for a new minibus.
A new minibus will be bought for the Community Wheels project based in Leominster following a successful bid by hvoss (herefordshire voluntary organisations support service).
Over 300 charities and community groups across the country have benefited from the £25m government fund.
The 16 seater wheelchair accessible minibus will expand their community transport services in Herefordshire and will be available for local group bookings.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver for the minibus contact Linda on 01568 617722. You will need D1 on your licence, complete a DBS check and full training will be provided.
