THE Bulls could mark their momentus Wembley trip with an appearance by the real thing.

The Herefordshire FA has revealed it has approached the Football Association on behalf of Hereford FC to ask whether a bull could be taken to the iconic venue ahead of the FA Vase final on May 22.

In August, before Hereford's opening league against Dunkirk, a bull called Hawkesbury Ronaldo was given a lap of the pitch.

"We are working closely in partnership with Hereford FC to see if we can take the bull to Wembley, but, at this stage, we're not sure how it can happen," said Roger Goodwin, football strategy manager at the HFA.

"We have been speaking to Hereford FC for a number of months and this came up in one of the conversations.

"We've had initial discussions with the FA and it would be amazing if it could happen.

"We think it would be fantastic for Herefordshire football, Herefordshire businesses and Hereford FC, but so many things have to sorted first to ensure it can happen."
